The Red Lion At Kniveton is run the international award winning Kniveton Cider Company.
As well as our own award winning ciders on draught and bottles we also have guest ciders and perries and a stock of over 50 different bottled ciders from some of the best small cider producers in the country.
Real Ale
We sell a changing range of real ales - national favourites alongside local beers.
We also stock a wide range of bottled ales from our friends at Aldwark Artisan Ales.
A La Carte
Our a la carte menu constantly changes with seasonality and ingredient availability.
Old classics sit alongside our Chef's innovative dishes. Quality food served Wednesday through to Sunday.
Sunday Lunch
Join us for a relaxed Sunday lunch.
A choice of Sunday Roasts (including vegetarian) with all the trimmings or pick a favourite dish from our a la carte menu - all for a set price for 1, 2 or 3 courses.
Book a Table
To make a booking email us on bookings@theredlionkniveton.co.uk and let us know the date and preferred time, the number of people in your group, a name and contact number. It helps us if we know how many in the group are children, if any high chairs are required, if you have dogs etc. Also, tell us if any of your group has allergies or intolerances so we can check our dishes for these before you arrive.
We do not always have chance to monitor emails - especially during service - so if you need a quick response then it is best to give us a ring on 01335 345554 during opening hours. If the phone goes to answerphone during service then we are really busy! Leave a message and we'll get back to you.

Last booking for food is 15 mins before kitchen closes.
To allow for staff holidays, each year we close the pub for a period around February/March and October/November.
